Foe to the surfer, but an integral part to the oceanic ecosystem, this species can pump up to 3 quarts of water an hour through its gills in order to filter out plankton!

Sometimes familiar objects take new form when you relax/squint your eyes to blur vision. You begin to see things that aren't inherent to the original object or maybe new forms that are completely unrelated. I like to try and squint the lens sometimes.

The first trip out with the newsed camera offered up more frustration than imagery. The learning curve is steeper than I anticipated. Oh well, there were a few keepers. I need to get a blower stat.
